Service Description
NRA Basic Pistol Course — Arizona Learn safe, responsible pistol handling with NRA‑certified instruction in a combined classroom and live‑fire format. This course follows the NRA Basic Pistol curriculum and is designed for new shooters and owners who want a solid foundation in safety, handling, marksmanship, and basic maintenance. What we provide Official NRA Basic Pistol student handbook Printed student certificate upon successful completion NRA‑certified instructor(s), classroom instruction, and range supervision What students must bring Your handgun (transported in a locked case) Minimum 200 rounds of appropriate ammunition for your firearm A secure holster that fully covers the trigger guard (no improvised rigs) Weapon cleaning/maintenance kit for basic inspection and care Closed‑toe shoes and long pants (required for range safety) Valid photo ID Course format & content Classroom lessons covering firearm safety rules, fundamentals of pistol shooting, safe handling and storage, basic maintenance, and an overview of relevant Arizona considerations (please verify state permit details separately) Instructor demonstrations and hands‑on practice in a controlled environment Live‑fire range session with supervised drills and an instructor‑evaluated qualification Successful completion of classroom exercises and range qualification required to receive the student certificate Safety & policies Safety is our top priority. All students must follow instructor directions and range rules, maintain muzzle discipline, and use approved equipment. Failure to comply with safety standards may result in removal from the course without refund.
